The shooting of the Godzilla sequel has started in Australia
As a result of Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse, Godzilla Vs Kong was the biggest film to appear, and a sequel is expected soon. Filming on the sequel to Godzilla has begun in Australia, and a new trailer gives us a small preview of the monster’s return in March 2024. It’s a fantastic time to be a kaiju fan, especially with Godzilla and the Titans ready to return in the new AppleTV+ MonsterVerse series.
On Skull Island, the colossal primate was kidnapped by a group of scientists looking for information about “Hollow Earth,” where many of the monsters that had escaped the Monsterverse were born. While Kong was hoping for peaceful coexistence between himself and the Lizard King, he was forced to regularly contend with the two famous monsters. Even though Godzilla came out on top in the first encounter, it appears that the ruler of Skull Island will be back for another go at it in the next sequel.
Filming for Godzilla Vs. Kong 2 was seen on camera, and many beachgoers appeared frightened by the king of monsters coming from the ocean depths, typical of his entrances in films.
Despite the lack of information on the sequel’s plot, the film has confirmed that Adam Wingard, the director of the first crossover, will return to the director’s chair for the second instalment. In addition to Wingard’s comeback, the picture will star actor Dan Stevens, who may be familiar to fans from his roles in FX’s Legion and Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. However, as of yet, the movie hasn’t confirmed the presence of any new titans, although there are many options.
