The American singer who had disappeared from the radar of the song since 2017 but thanks to the variant Omicron, his career is being relaunched.

Indeed, Internet users are mistakenly writing Omarion instead of Omicron on Google, youtube and other social networks.

This 37-year-old Californian singer, whose real name is Omari Ishmael Grandberry, started his career in the 2000s. Former leader of the boyband B2K, The single  Bump, Bump, Bump peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This would prove to be the group’s last album, as they would disband in early 2004. He has released a dozen albums and mixtapes, with some hits like the aptly named “Distance”, a premonitory track released in 2017 whose video has accumulated more than 44 million views.

The singer Omarion has a lot of humour as he responds on social networks to people who make fun of the situation ” “I’m an artist, not a variant!” and “Know that if I pass me in the street, you do not need to isolate yourself for 5 days”.

With more than 120,000 views each, these two short videos have allowed Omarion to get his name out there again.
