Vaccines are angry, they’re fed up

The masks are back on, some hospitals are filling up again, and it’s easy for vaccines to figure out who’s behind the latest resurgence of COVID-19 in the United States. The target of their anger “the anti vax”

Unvaccinated Americans are getting sick quickly from the highly contagious delta variant, and they are often extremely sick: More than 97 percent of people hospitalized for COVID-19 in mid-July were unvaccinated, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

It’s an unfortunately predictable outcome, one that has led some politicians and pundits to vent their frustrations on the unvaccinated.

“This is not a pandemic of ignorance,” laughed the Santa Monica Daily Press in an editorial about the spike in cases and hospitalizations in Los Angeles County. “It’s an outbreak of sheer stupidity.”

High levels of infections in unvaccinated people increase the risk to everyone, and the headlines documented the anger of the vaccinated that followed. Unvaccinated Americans were called “arrogant,” “selfish,” “stupid,” “idiotic,” and worse for refusing to be vaccinated.

The anger of the vaccinated is rising in front of the anti vax, it is to be deplored that among the unvaccinated people, many of them do not do it, not by a spirit of defiance or to play the rebel but by an uncontrollable fear, the fear of dying because of the vaccine, this vaccine which was created too quickly for them, outside the rules, without all the clinical studies carried out.
These people represent almost 90% of the anti vax patients, it would be time to talk to them, to explain to them that the vaccine is a chance to live.
