The Walking Dead is to return in 2023 as a miniseries

The famous series “The Walking Dead” has ended after 11 seasons and 12 years of zombie slaughter. But that doesn’t mark the end of the Walking Dead Universe.

The Rick & Michonne project will consist of 6 episodes. Danai Gurira (Michonne currently in Black Panther Wakanda Forever) is also co-writer of the miniseries, which she describes as “An epic love story between two characters transformed by a transformed world.

Everyone knows that Andrew Lincoln and Dana Gurira appear in the final scene of the last episode of The Walking Dead. But they are not found together with the other survivors. Rick is wearing a Military Civic Republic jacket.
