In my Hero Academia, the final battle between heroes and villains intensifies

In the most recent installment of My Hero Academia, Katsuki Bakugo’s dangerously developing quirk is dissected. As each hero fails to prevent as much damage from Tomura Shigaraki as possible before Izuku Midoriya arrives, the final battle between heroes and villains heats up. Bakugo, in particular, has been forced to confront the enormity of the chasm that separates him from Shigaraki’s authority.

Bakugo has received severe wounds in the most recent episodes because Shigaraki has quickly dispatched him. Bakugo had taken a lot of damage since we last saw him, but it was hinted that he wasn’t done battling because his quirk was beginning to develop in a new way. The last installment of the series verified that he had set his quirk further but warned that he was now entering a challenging period that would coincide with his dying breath and final battle.

After the Big Three take a shot at Shigaraki in chapter 361 of My Hero Academia, the villain counters at the perfect time, leaving the heroes defenceless. Here, like Izuku, Bakugo, though bleeding and battered, gets back up and rejoins the fight because he is determined to win at whatever cost. As soon as he hits the ground, his quirk kicks in, and despite his severe injuries, he can avoid Shigaraki’s blows for a brief period. Because his latest Cluster update means his Nitroglycerin sweat is no longer confined to his palms, we can see what it is.

That enhancement made it harder on his hands to maintain constructing and shaping explosives. They’ve progressed to the point where they’re leaking out of his body through any available pores. These detonations gave him a burst of speed, but it proved to be in vain, as Shigaraki struck Bakugo in the heart at the chapter’s end. The only question left is whether his unique ability has progressed enough to save his life at this late stage.
