According to a statement issued by the Shanghai Disney Resort, Disneyland China will be temporarily closed as of Tuesday, November 29, to comply with pandemic prevention and control requirements.
Disneyland, Wishing Star Park and the resort’s two hotels will operate normally.
Guests will be notified of the park’s reopening date as soon as possible, and all affected will receive a ticket refund or reschedule during this period, the park said.
On Monday, 28 November, Shanghai recorded 20 new confirmed cases and 158 asymptomatic cases of locally transmitted COVID-19, according to the municipal health commission.
