Apple TV strikes a blow in the cinema by financing the film “Ghosted”

The anticipated movie is scheduled to premiere in theaters this coming April. The movie’s poster prominently features Evans and de Armas as the film’s two main stars. Evans and Armas will be collaborating again after this project. The Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man featured them in opposing roles, and Knives Out, a murder thriller released in 2019, was a huge success. Scarlett Johansson, Evans’ Marvel Cinematic Universe co-star, had begun negotiations to star alongside him before de Armas, but she had to back out due to a schedule difficulty.
Although the synopsis has yet to be made public, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Erik Sommers, and Chris McKenna wrote the movie. You may think the movie’s plot revolves around one of the leads ghosting the other after they’ve met, given the title, but you might be surprised. With a slogan like “meeting that special someone may be a true adventure,” it’s safe to assume that the movie will feature both action and romance. However, fans of the leading stars will have to wait for the movie’s premiere before they learn any details about it.
Apple TV+ has announced the cast members who will appear in the upcoming Ghosted film, although very little is known about the film itself. Adrien Brody plays Leveque, Mike Moh plays Wagner, Tim Blake Nelson plays Borislov, Marwan Kenzari plays Marco, Anna Deavere Smith plays Claudia Yates, Lizze Broadway plays Mattie, Mustafa Shakir plays Monte Jackson, Tiya Sircar plays Patti, Amy Sedaris plays Patti, and Tate Donovan plays Armas.
Along with Evans, Wernick, and Reese, ghosted is produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Julie Daly at Apple Studios and Skydance Media. The film’s production started on February 14, 2023, in Atlanta and Washington, DC, and ended in May of the same year.
