What really happened in the death of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh

Several Arab countries at the UN demanded, Wednesday, May 11 in a statement “an independent international investigation” into the “murder” of the American-Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh of the Al Jazeera channel.
On this occasion, the Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, said that she was murdered by the Israeli army.
Both sides are blaming each other for the death of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh of Al Jazeera. Israel has called for an international investigation to find out who was responsible for the death of the journalist. Unfortunately, the Palestinian authority refused this offer.
It gets worse because, during the autopsy, the Palestinian forensic doctor refused the presence of Israeli doctors and above all, the Palestinian Authority decided to bury the body of the journalist within two hours after the autopsy. Following the Palestinian autopsy, the doctor admitted that it was impossible to know who was responsible for the bullet that killed the journalist.
One of the senior officials of the Arab Authority, Hussein a-Sheikh, announced this morning (Thursday) that the Arabs refuse a joint investigation with Israel regarding the murder of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh yesterday in Jenin.
A-Sheikh: “Israel requested a joint investigation, but we will complete an independent investigation and inform the family, the United States and Qatar.”
In addition, the Arab Authority refused to transfer the bullet that caused Abu Akleh’s death for verification in Israel.
The problem with this complicated story is that several newspapers in the world and especially the AFP agency accused Israel of being responsible for the death of the journalist without waiting for the beginning of the investigation.
The tension is already very high in this region and it is very important that every journalist is sure of his source before publishing it.
