The Last of Us series is a hit

For a start, it is a real triumph for “The Last of Us” which attracted millions of people! HBO recorded one of its best audiences for more than ten years. Exceptional figures that only concern the American public.

The series, The Last of Us, has just started in the United States on HBO. The French company, Prime Video, has recovered the broadcasting rights of the series adapted from the eponymous video game and offers the episodes in US+24. A very good move from the streaming service that also offers all HBO series and the 12 channels of the Warner group. To access these programs, you will have to subscribe to the Warner Pass, available from March 2023.

Americans were able to enjoy the first episode of The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. The great strength of the show is to address both fans of the video game and a new audience, without being satisfied with a simple copy / paste of the original work. The creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann bring other elements and allow to deepen a little more the story of the main characters.

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, twenty years after the start of a pandemic that has seen humans turn into violent creatures. A man, Joel, is going to be in charge of taking Ellie, a teenager, to a group of rebels called the Fireflies. Because Ellie seems to be immune to the virus, not having transformed after being bitten by an infected person. She could then allow the creation of a vaccine. But before that, the duo will have to face different tests that will bring them closer.
