The Global Pandemic is waning and beginning to disappear in some countries

In Israel, the virus is practically no longer circulating, there are more recovered people (138) than infected Israelis (98) and no deaths. The restaurants and hotels are full, life is back to normal. Sports halls, cafes, bars, restaurants, discos, playgrounds and cultural venues have reopened in Israel, where more than nine out of ten adults have been vaccinated or have fully recovered from Covid-19 ….

In the USA, the results of the vaccination are spectacular, at the end of January 2021, 4000 deaths per day, on April 26, less than 700 deaths. Life in New-York has resumed, the starbucks have reopened, Central Park is jogging again and the famous skateboarders of Central Park have fully resumed their service.

In Europe and other suffering countries like Brazil or India ,we don’t know how the pandemic will play out in the next few months.Given its intensity so far, it is likely that there will be new waves, but perhaps less intense.

We don’t know what a possible fourth wave will look like, or what effect the new genetic variants that are appearing might have, but the good news is that globally the pandemic is waning right now.

Perhaps it is a combination of several factors: the virus behaves seasonally, the population acquires some herd immunity through natural infection or vaccines, perhaps the virus in this natural process of variation and mutation leads to less virulent forms and adapts to its new host.We don’t know for sure, but for now there is still reason for hope.
