The aeronautics market looks promising in the coming years

The aeronautical market looks very important, according to recent analyses, more than 44,500 new aircraft will be delivered in the next two decades, worth 2.9 trillion US dollars. It is hoped that manufacturers such as Airbus and Boeing will be able to deliver cleaner aircraft.

The Asia-Pacific continents are the main growing regions for new deliveries, led by China. China is expected to have the highest annual growth rate in passenger traffic, at more than 6%, and will account for 19% of deliveries in 2041, ahead of all other Asia-Pacific countries, with a combined share of 22%.

Europe and North America with their airlines are expected to account for 21% and 17% of deliveries respectively. Middle Eastern airlines will account for 7 percent of deliveries, but 14 percent by value, due to the abundance of high-value twin-aisle deliveries.

On the other hand, Eastern Europe with the war in Ukraine leads to the following forecast: Russian capacity and traffic are expected to decrease in the short term. Combined with the complete cessation of Ukrainian civil aviation activity, Russia/CIS traffic is then expected to stabilize at 70% of 2019 levels by 2024.
