Renewable energies overtake fossil fuels

In the energy field, the weight of companies involved in renewable energy has begun to be more important than that of traditional companies, and it is in the United States, a symbolic country of fossil energy, that an important step has been taken.
In the course of 2020, the market capitalization of the world’s largest solar and wind power producer, Florida-based NextEra Energy, surpassed the market capitalization of the Exxon Group at $150 billion.

Although only temporary, this transition is symptomatic of both the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energies and renewable energy development’s economic and industrial potential.

After having successfully developed solar and wind farms, NextEra Energy wishes to invest in large-scale storage and green hydrogen.
