Man is the enemy of nature and the cause of climate change

Over the past two centuries, all parts of the climate system, i.e. the oceans, the land and the atmosphere, have warmed up. Scientists agree that the main reason for climate change is man-made.

Between 1850 and today, it is already more than one degree Celsius. According to the available data for the last 2000 years, such a temperature has never been recorded. Since the beginning of industrialization, the concentration of greenhouse gases such as CO2, methane and nitrous oxide in the atmosphere has been increasing. CO2 levels today are higher than at any time in the last 800,000 years!

This is due to the increased concentration of greenhouse gases, as much of the sun’s radiation is reflected back to earth and cannot escape into space. The earth, therefore, continues to warm up. This is a man-made greenhouse effect which, according to many studies, is the cause of global warming.

All the specialists had announced the current warming, and this, since the 1970s and 1980s, and they predict a new increase in temperature until 2100. To date, the global temperature increase is a little over 1 degree compared to the pre-industrial era. At the same time, the Paris Climate Agreement projects an increase of about 1.5 degrees by 2100.

However, if global warming continues, this date could be exceeded by a decade. Based on the actions of our leaders to date, we could be looking at an increase of 2 to 3.5 degrees instead. Unfortunately, the consequences of warming are already clearly visible: melting glaciers, rising sea levels and increasingly extreme weather.
