Kate Erin is excellent in her role as The brand-new Millennium

The brand new Millennium Bugs trailer has been released exclusively on Collider. This new teaser debuts just weeks before the film’s February 7, 2023, DVD and digital on-demand release on services including Apple TV, Prime Video, Vudu, Google Play, DirecTV, and more.
During the film’s 90 minutes, we travel back to the turn of 2000, more than two decades ago. Kelly, portrayed by Kate Erin (The Lincoln Lawyer), is a young woman who finds herself destitute after spending the inheritance she received from her parents. And Miguel, played by Third Act’s Michael Lovato, is stuck working at a video store when all he wants to do is be a comic. While the rest of the world prepares for a brighter future in 2000, two outcasts who don’t seem to have much hope of their own decide to celebrate the end of the year anyhow.
In the new 1-minute and 45-second trailer, we see Kelly plotting her celebration of the year 2000 with Miguel. The title “Party like it’s 1999” sums up the picture rather neatly, and the trailer consists of a montage of the many various (and occasionally illegal) things the two get up to.
The film, written and directed by Alejandro Montoya Marn, had its global premiere at Dances with Films in September 2020 and had its festival debut the same year. After waiting for slightly over two years, it is now widely available on DVD and digital on demand. Casting included Erin, Lovato, Chad Brummett, Joseph Conway, Daniel Cruz, Sofia Embid, Sabrina Garcia, Robert Gonzales, Christina Gopal, Jason E. Hill, Gene Hunt, Jamie H. Jung, Aaron Mastriani, Kenneth McGlothin, Frida Mercury, and Avery Merrifield.
On February 7, you may buy the DVD or stream Millennium Bugs on demand.
