It’s an understatement to say that the animation team behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse surpassed everyone’s high standards. Although most of the Variants who appear will probably only have brief cameos, this demonstrates how heavily they utilize the Spider-Verse lore. There’s already been talk of a female Spider-Verse spinoff, so it wouldn’t be surprising if further spinoffs were developed following the next movie. It would be exciting to see spinoffs for the new Variants to help grow the franchise, depending on how well each one is received.
