Two of President Donald Trump's closest collaborators tested positive at Covid 19 .
The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, contracted the virus, confirmed on NPR public radio his deputy chief of staff, Coalter Baker. "He is doing well and feels fortunate to have access to therapies that are greatly helping and accelerating his recovery," he added.
According to U.S. media reports, Carson, 69, was treated at Walter Reed Military Hospital near Washington.
Carson had spent the night of November 3 at the White House monitoring the election.
On November 6, the media reported that the president's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, had also contracted COVID-19 after the election.
Since September, several collaborators have contracted covid 19, as well as President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
Covid 19 has killed nearly 243,000 Americans and 10 million cases.
Since February 2020, when the first cases were recorded on U.S. soil, this virus has been a plague for Donald Trump.
The consequences of this pandemic have been catastrophic for Donald Trump, he is out of hospital and will probably leave the White House.
In the meantime, Joe Biden has set up an emergency office to deal with this deadly virus.
