The situation of COVID-19 in Bulgaria on 25 August 2022

Five thousand seven hundred seventy-one tests have been performed, meaning the share of positive results is 15.65%.

Eight patients with confirmed coronavirus infection have died.

To date, 919 people are hospitalized with a diagnosis of COVID-19, 52 of whom are in intensive care units. There are 137 new hospital admissions.

Nine hundred sixty-two people have been cured in the last 24 hours and a total of 1,188,280 since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are currently 12,673 active cases.

In the last 24 hours, 1,998 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, and a total of 4,518,373 doses have been distributed since the beginning of the vaccination campaign.

Thirty-seven thousand five hundred seventy-eight people have lost the battle against the new coronavirus in Bulgaria, out of the 1,238,531 people confirmed to be infected since the start of the pandemic.
