The Rocky series with Creed 3 soon be on the screens
The ninth film in the “Rocky” saga, with Michael B. Jordan in the lead role as director, announces a brutal and merciless show.
Sylvester Stallone is not in the cast, but with Michael B. Jordan back in front of the camera and for the very first time directing a feature film, Creed 3 is unveiled in a necessarily muscular and brutal trailer (see at the top of the article). After defeating Viktor Drago in Creed 2, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) lives a dream, both in the ring and with Bianca (Tessa Thompson) and their daughter Amara.
There are familiar characters who are back, like Adonis’ mother-in-law (Phylicia Rashad) and his trainer Tony “Little Duke” Evers Jr (Wood Harris). But the “return” that interests us most here is that of Anderson, Dame. The latter is a childhood friend of Adonis, just out of prison and also a boxer, played by a physically transformed Jonathan Majors.
This is the first film by Michael B. Jordan that doesn’t seem to bother with an overly complex script. But this is probably what he needs to make this Creed 3 a success. The story is simple: out of nowhere – finally out of prison – an old friend finds Adonis. The latter, who we can guess feels indebted to him, offers him to train in his gym. But Anderson, Dame, has a grudge. A body-built and ultra-violent boxer, he will turn against Adonis and challenge him. Objective: to take everything from him and live his life.
Bitterness, an atmosphere of revenge and accounts to settle, all the elements necessary for it to explode in the ring. As the images of this trailer show, we will be entitled to fight sequences where the blows will rain down and fall like anvils.
