The most expected films for 2023

Since the end of the pandemic, theatres are filling up again and 2023 should be the same line as 2022, with even more entries. The most expected movies for 2023 are:

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”

Much faster than Vin Diesel’s cars, Hasbro’s famous mechanical aliens are getting a new run. This will be the very first one without Michael Bay, their historical pilot. It is the young Steven Caple Jr. who has taken the reins of the franchise, with young actors surrounding the nice Autobots and the nasty Decepticons. Subtitled Rise of the Beasts, this new installment will take place in the 1990s with a vintage hip-hop background.

“John Wick: Chapter 4”

Star, Keanu Reeves, returns to action in this bloody action saga where all bets are off. To finally gain his freedom, his character of a pissed off hitman will have to face new enemies between New York, Berlin, Tokyo and Paris where director Chad Stahelski has set his cameras on the steps of Montmartre, in the middle of Paris, hello for the tourists…

“The Little Mermaid”

The Disney group has decided to offer its fans a new live action adaptation of one of its greatest classics, with Chicago director Rob Marshall behind the camera. Up front, it’s the young mixed-race singer Halle Bailey, half of the R’n’b duo Chloe & Halle, who has been cast as Ariel. There is a great polemic for the choice of the casting. Answer in 2023.

“The Flash”

The film was made, already two years ago, in 2021, this blockbuster devoted to the supersonic superhero, however, has a smell of sulfur because of the antics of its star, Ezra Miller. Despite the rumors, Warner has decided to support it until the end, so as not to throw away the work of the talented director of That, Andy Muschietti. However, this will be the last opportunity to see the actor in the role, as the new boss of DC Studios James Gunn has decided to turn the page on Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

“Indiana Jones 5”

The star, Harrison Ford has almost 80 springs, puts back the headgear of the famous explorer for a fifth and a priori last adventure directed by James Mangol, the director of Wolverine. If Steven Spielberg has dropped the case to devote himself to more personal projects, the first trailer has given a warm blow to fans, the attractive Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen surrounding an Indy that we will discover rejuvenated the time of a sequence thanks to the magic of digital special effects.

The Galaxy, Vol. 3

In the synopsis that was given to the public by Marvel, Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, gathers his team and flies to deep space in one of the coolest spaceships in science fiction to “defend the universe while protecting one of their own.” And, of course, he’s still trying to get over the loss of Gamora. The “original Gamora” was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, and the “alternate timeline Gamora” left Earth confused about that information in the final battle with her timeline Thanos.
