The death of James Caan, a giant, has fallen at 82 years
The star James Caan died on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the age of 82 years. The actor’s official Twitter account announced the sad news this Thursday, July 7, using the actor’s usual conclusion:
“It is with great sadness that we inform you of Jimmy’s passing on the evening of July 6”.

The actor James Caan was born on March 26, 1940, in New York. He began his career in the early 60s in soap operas such as Naked City, The Untouchables and The Young Doctor Kildare. In the cinema, he found his first role in Irma la Douce, under the direction of Billy Wilder. Thereafter, he turns to some of the greatest American filmmakers.
The legend is revealed to the public by giving the line to John Wayne and Robert Mitchum in the western El Dorado of Howard Hawks, released in 1966.
