The benefits of light are increasingly well known and light therapy is becoming more and more popular to help fight against stress in particular, but also to fight against skin aging by acting on forehead wrinkles or crow’s feet for example.
LED masks in different colors are already available to the public and to professionals, but Lucibel has decided to stand out by offering a mask that uses only red light to fight against aging, that delivers a much higher intensity of energy than its competitors and that adapts to the morphology of the face.
Who is Lucibel?
Lucibel is a French company producing LED-based lighting fixtures and systems. Based in Rueil-Malmaison, it employs 180 people and has a turnover of more than 25 million euros.
Lucibel was founded in 2008 by Frédéric Granotier, former Chief Operating Officer of Poweo. Lucibel specializes in the LED lighting segment.
The company has financed its development through successive rounds of financing, its main investors being Aster, the investment fund of Schneider Electric, Alstom and Rhodia, CM-CIC Capital Innovation and Sudinnova, then BPIFrance. The company was listed on Alternext in July 2014
Lucibel also expanded through external growth, acquiring Cordel in March 2013 (store lighting, based in Bénodet, Finistère) and then Procédés Hallier (museum lighting, based in Montreuil in Seine-Saint-Denis).
The lights are safe for patients and caregivers. Similarly, the lighting offers a homogeneous and reliable light that guarantees the visual comfort of all as well as the smooth running of care. Thanks to customizable solutions that are easy and quick to install, Lucibel offers functional lighting that allows for significant energy and maintenance savings.
Their innovations such as LiFi and Cronos will improve the efficiency of care, offering respectively a secure internet connection without radio waves and a light modeled on natural light for a synchronization of our biological clock.
The red light, which is harmless to the skin, is intended to restore the skin’s elasticity, radiance and firmness in a 10-minute session twice a week
