Jane Fonda, always so beautiful

In the latest photos from Paramount’s upcoming comedy 80 for Brady, four Tom Brady fanatics are about to go on the trip of a lifetime. The film, starring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field, is based on the story of four friends who journey to Houston, Texas, to watch Tom Brady and the New England Patriots take on the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. Paramount also announced a theatrical release date of February 3, 2023, alongside the new images from the film.

GRACE AND FRANKIE

In the first photo, four women are waiting to see Brady, dressed in matching jerseys. However, they are unprepared for the road ahead of them. The second image depicts Guy Fieri taking Field to Flavortown for a hot wing eating contest, complete with some very intimidating-looking hot sauces. Field doesn’t even seem to be fazed by the spice, even after the milk and the warning that they’re really hot. Along with Emmy-winner Billy Porter (Pose), a more recent addition to the cast, which may be seen in the middle of a poker game with Tomlin, Moreno, and Field, Fieri is one of the more recent additions to the film. The last shot of Touchdown Tom in the Patriots’ locker room implies that the women’s quest will conclude in front of their hero.

Brady’s inspiration for the initiative came from the women’s true narrative and their journey to the Super Bowl, and he played a vital role in making it a reality. Through his 199 Productions label, he brings Oscar winner Donna Gigliotti and the Fifth Season to the big screen as actors and producers. As previously indicated, the three producers mentioned above worked together with screenwriters Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins to create the film. Kyle Marvin directed the movie.

In addition to its two primary characters, 80 for Brady will feature the on-screen reunion of several Patriots from the team’s championship years, including wide receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola and tight end Rob Gronkowski. The four athletes will be reunited to experience the Super Bowl victory that holds the record for the largest come-from-behind victory in the game’s history, a 28-3 deficit against the Atlanta Falcons. They’ll be joining an all-star cast that includes Sara Gilbert, Harry Hamlin, Glynn Turman, Bob Balaban, Ron Funches, Jimmy O. Yang, Rob Corddry, Alex Moffa, and Matt Lauria.

On February 3 of next year, theaters will begin showing 80 for Brady.
